Bridge Project
Project Description:
Grading and bridge replacement
8/14/2026 update on the CSAH 31 Bridge Replacement Project: This week the contractor completed driving the piling for the north abutment and poured concrete for the south abutment and south pier cap. Next week, they will install concrete forms for the north abutment and north pier cap and begin placing falsework for the bridge deck. The channel will be open to boat traffic on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th. Starting first thing Monday morning, August 17th, the channel will be closed to boat traffic. Please plan accordingly.
Please note once falsework is placed over the channel, there will be no boat traffic allowed in the channel while the concrete deck is being poured and during the concrete curing period. This closure will remain in effect until the falsework can be safely removed towards the end of September. Please help spread the word so people can plan accordingly.
